After graduating from The California Culinary Academy in 1988, Mr. Skorish took a position with the UTE CITY BANQUE in Aspen, Colorado where he rose to the position of Sous Chef within a period of four years. Chef Michael was recruited by Royal Brazilian Airlines to run their main commissary on the Island of St Martin. He remained in that position until he returned to Arizona to become involved in the family restaurant and was instrumental in establishing the very successful UNCLE LOUIE BRICK OVEN PIZZA.The Pizza Restaurant expanded to their new location in 2008 and became a full service Italian Restaurant called UNCLE LOUIE the RESTAURANT, a neighborhood favorite in the North Scottsdale, Carefree and Cave Creek area. Much of the credit of the restaurants success be attributed to Chef Michael’s creative cooking style, which subscribes to the theory that if you want a great product, you must start with fresh ingredients. The Chef has mastered the preparation of all the recipes served at Uncle Louie. His creativity and consistency in the preparation brings his customers back time after time.
